Well, that means I am the relative of the bride.
In the morning, I went to church, because both the bride (Belle)
and the groom (Mike) are christians.Inside the church, it was decorated in analogous colors and all are in high value.
Well, it was girlish style; also, gave me "sweet" feeling.
But, if I were the person in charge of the decoration, I would use the high chroma of violet, red and pink instead of using high value of them because of creating a more impressive and romantic feeling.
(I hope they won't see that... ^^")
In these two pictures, they were standing in front of the stage and listening the admonishment of the priest.During that moment, I was thinking about the story behind of couples wearing in pure white when wedding.
I believe that white means consecrated and chaste to both western and eastern culture.
So, both groom and bride wear in white means they are taking serious and consecrated attitude towards this ceremony.
After the ceremony in western style, we moved to the chinese restaurant for the Chinese traditional ceremony and also our dinner in the evening.
This is Chinese tradition that the bride should wear a traditional high chroma red wedding dress.
It is because red means good and happy thing is going to happen or even happening.
So, more sharp and high chroma in red, Chinese would more and more like it.
In this picture my grandmother was going to drink the tea, grandson-in-law and granddaughter tea. (^^)
Analogous colors in tone of yellow and brown are used inside the restaurant where we had had dinner.
Also, it was also decorated with the shining white in contrastive value of droplights comparing with the low value of analogous color as the background.
In that decoration, a feeling of gorgeous could easily be seen.
